Thanks to the adoption of compliant materials, soft actuators, and innovative manufacturing processes, it is now possible to develop robotic systems that are safer, more adaptable, and more easily integrated into real-world environments. This seminar will provide an overview of the main technologies and methodologies currently employed in research, highlighting their potential and limitations through applications in robotic grasping, wearable devices, and mobile robots.
