Abstract | The lecture will present the most recent activities carried out by the research group of prof. Quaglia in the field of service robotics, with particular reference to mobile robots. Wheelchair solutions for people with walking problems, both electrically and manually operated, will also be described. All research activities have led to innovative rototypes on which extensive experimental validations have been carried out. The lecture will introduce: * MoviWE.Q, Indoor omnidirectional motorized wheelchair * SensHB.Q, A low cost sensorized handlebar to control omnidirectional robots, * wheelchairs and other motorized systems * Wheelchair.Q, Electric stairclimbing wheelchair * Handwheelchair.Q, Manual wheelchair with an innovative system of propulsion inspired by a rowing gesture * PAQUITOP, a lightweight omnidirectional mobile manipulator * AGRI.Q, An electric mobile robot for precision agriculture * AGRIMARO.Q, An omnidirectional rover for precision agriculture in greenhouses * EPI.Q, Exploration and Surveillance rover |
